Welcome to the Treledan Travel Plan

Making changes in favour of active or green travel is now easier than it’s ever been. Why not consider walking for short trips, have a go at cycling to drop the kids off at school, or look into how you can switch up your regular commute to include public transport? These small lifestyle adjustments could have a positive impact on you and your family, boosting your health and happiness, as well as minimising your carbon footprint and allowing you to enjoy more of your local area.

Did you know? Treledan has its own dedicated and friendly Travel Plan Co-ordination team who are ready to assist with looking at new travel options for you, journey planning and any other queries or concerns you may have, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We have launched our Treledan Facebook page which we encourage you all to follow.

The Facebook page will provide regular transport updates for Treledan and Saltash which will include:

  • Details of national and local sustainable travel events.
  • Any changes or updates to local public transport.
  • Keeping you up to date with the Travel Plan and any Travel Plan Co-ordinator visits.
  • Letting you know how we are progressing towards our Travel Plan targets.

The Facebook Page is also the home of the Treledan ‘Bicycle User Group’ or BUG. The BUG is a group of enthusiastic cyclists who promote cycling by sharing concerns and ideas with the Travel Plan Co-ordinator and Cornwall Council, and by helping new and potential cyclists get on their bikes.
